Murals From Zero This exciting new workshop was developed based on requests from professional faux finishers and decorative painters. After completing this five day hands-on workshop, you will expand your portfolio with innovative techniques for creating original artwork on walls, ceilings, canvases and tapestries. No previous fine art experience is necessary.   Utilizing LusterStone®, O’Villa® Plaster, Venetian Gem Bellissimo™, SoSlow™ glazing medium, Activator2™, FauxCreme Colors™ and MetalGlow™, you will finish from 12-15 sample boards and two tapestries (approximately 3'x6').   Featured Techniques: Perspective. light sources, shading, shadowing, opaque projector and various other resources will be incorporated into a comprehensive learning experience.     You will learn how to: Set up a mural project from start to finish. Create original artwork through transfer imaging. Incorporate simple brushstrokes for enhancements on various wall finishes. Use LusterStone as a background and a paint medium. Use Venetian Gem Bellissimo as a background and a palette knife application medium. Lazure painting style.       Instructor Lorraine “Rainy” Nigg. Rainy has been creating beautiful painted murals for over 30 years. After she discovered products manufactured by Faux Effects International, it completely changed the way she created her artwork and provided her with a competitive edge. She will share these unique techniques with students.
