Update Workshops Pack the House Faux Effects International, Inc. was pleased to host their Annual Student Product Updates in Vero Beach, Florida and Addison, Texas this past spring 2009. This sought out event is complimentary to all FE students of both locations. Each year the updates are a great way for decorative finishers to get caught up on all the new technology that Faux Effects products have to offer along with a beneficial time to network with cohorts. Lecture and demonstration are the format for this one day experience. All students were intrigued to learn the latest inventions from Raymond Sandor, Faux Effects President, Founder and Inventor, himself. FE’s new epoxy system, “Rock-Kote™” was showcased and became the major focus for the morning’s discussion after numerous questions from the students regarding it’s countertop and floor use. Look for a full workshop coming this fall! After a lunch break where all were able to relax and network, Caridad Schaeffer, FE corporate instructor, and Donna Phelps, FE licensed Distributor of the Sarasota School of Faux & Architectural Finishing, Sarasota, Florida, took the stage with ample demonstrations of FE’s new EZ-Elements™, Designer Foil Fx™ and new ways to use a fabulous product, “LusterSuede™. FE’s new “Color Options” were also featured; actual color product samples of StucoLux™, MetalGlow®, Setcoat®, LusterStone® and Stain & Seal™. All sold individually or all (5) together in one reference binder. All were delighted to have Mr. Sandor back on stage in the afternoon to demonstrate FE’s new TransOxide Colors™, which are exterior rated-great for wood graining garage and exterior doors, and to answer any final departing questions. At our Dallas/Addison, Texas location, FE Dallas students were joined by Raymond Sandor, FE corporate instructor, Lauren Childs and FE licensed distributors, Leslie and Nicola Vigini of Vigini Studios, San Antonio, Texas.
